While working with The Niner Times, the student newspaper at UNC Charlotte, I helped produce and promote our weekly playlists that shifted with the season and campus culture. My role involved designing the playlist covers and translating them into multiple formats, including print layouts for the newspaper, Instagram story graphics, and a web banner for digital promotion—ensuring cohesive visual branding across all platforms.
Each playlist followed a different visual tone, yet still needed to feel consistent within the overall brand. Deadlines were fast-paced, and there were many weeks where I was given the playlist theme with only one or two days to design the cover artwork and adapt it across formats. This experience strengthened both my creative flexibility and my ability to work efficiently under pressure.
